Hannah-Time!

Does it need to be in leather outer with specialised inserts? Of course not. Any notebook would do. The tool enhances the ritual.

Off for a Padel

Read that again. The US getting beaten up, and rather rushing to its side, we're sitting back, alternately horrified and grimly smug. How on earth did we get to this?

Format a disk though? Somebody find me a Computer Science PHD student. It's mad.

On not being a Stationer

I wondered whether I would still be as motivated to use analogue tools, particularly as I'm exploring different digital rabbit holes. The answer to that has come quickly - I'm using pens, pencils and paper more than I ever did.

Still Teching

The Digest 06/04/25

The Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch

They'd hate me for saying it, but Blackwing and Moleskine sell nostalgia. Their products are echoes of stationery past. Both brands hark back to windswept and interesting people who used their tools.

Anytype

Anytype is beautifully marketed. For someone like me, suddenly concerned about data privacy, cross-platform, and worried about "Big Tech", it hits all the notes. "For those who celebrate trust and autonomy." It's a nerd war cry!
