Phew!
What a week. Mrs L had a landmark birthday, one with a zero in it. We went out for a quiet meal with a few friends. Nothing fancy, nothing excessive. It's a school-night after all. "We'll be home by nine, I expect."
Hmmm...it is a fact seldom acknowledged that hangovers get progressively worse, the older one gets. Certainly, neither Mrs I nor I acknowledged it as we partied into the early hours. We did, however, for the days subsequent.
For my troubles, I came down with "man-flu", or perhaps just a cold, and took to my bed. All is well now though.
Writing
I wrote about Analog Weekly, a simple tool that I glance at everyday.

Geopolitics were again on my mind, as the rest of the World gets to grip with Trump being isolationist...and then he started bombing Yemen. Go figure.

Shopping
I'm still testing a few things out, but in a rare and welcome outbreak of restraint, I have not bought a single thing. Although, I have a feeling that Mrs L may have two annual subscriptions to Nord VPN running, one with Apple and another direct. Easily done. I may conduct an audit of the family spending on subscriptions. I bet I'll be astonished at the savings. I shall of course, report back.
Surfing
I'm researching resilience. With the US doing its thing, I'm looking at what risk that presents to my businesses. This site is a good place to start.
Anybody got any experience of these fancy weight loss treatments? I have a lot of timber to shift! Drop me a note at stuart at stuartlennon dot com.
