Writing

Leuchturm 1917 make excellent (if a tiny bit unexciting) notebooks. Their Edition 120 is great for fountain pen users.

Leuchtturm1917 Edition 120.
From swish graphite to stylish rollerballs and ballpoints, but my preference is for a fountain pen. And what’s the point of owning glorious pens if not to write with them?

Proper first world problems. German efficiency meets Mediterranean apathy. Guess who wins?

Friction
Maybe the Norsemen were onto something. Loki, the God of Mischief, has come into my life this week. There’s an argument that he rules supreme worldwide at the moment.

Trying to keep up with the US administration. Plays havoc with my workflow, not to mention the safety and security of the planet and its largest economy.

Shopping

Surfing

Julian's excellent Substack. In terms of analogue/digital flip-flopping, we are kindred spirits. Now, we're both hoarding our remaining Foglietto cards.

The Revolution will not be Computerised
Tearing myself away from technology.

Talking of flip-flopping, look! A shiny new (to me) notes application.

Thank you for being a subscriber.

Have a smashing week!

Posts are not arriving individually to your e-mail. Instead, they arrive in this newsletter as a digest. If you're a paid member, the posts appear in Slack as soon as they are published - and anyone can, of course, have them pop up in your RSS reader of choice. Just add RSS to the end of the URL. I recommend Reader by Readwise.
